The IMPASTO Series 5025has been designed to be used with the many texture gels and pastes now available - it is the elastic “painting knife brush”. The brush moves seamlessly through the thickest layers of paint and are great for rough surfaces, wood, cement or textured canvases. It can be used for priming, gesso, underpainting, varnishing, graining and transparent painting with great control. They are made according to certified green manufacturing with sustainable wood handles and rust proof steel ferrules. Brushes are handmade in Germany at the da Vinci family owned factory since 1890.
