The Sebo Dart upright vacuum cleaner is our pick for that consumer on a budget, but looking for quality, performance and durability.  Made in Germany and featuring a S-Class Hospital Grade filtration system this vacuum is a much better option than a Shark or Dyson vacuum.

The Sebo Dart weighs in at only 15.4lbs. and has a powerful suction motor that makes quick work of pet hair, sand and other debris. The floor nozzle is the same ET-1 power head featured on the higher end Sebo Felix and canister vacuums minus the 180° swivel. It's a great investment for a first time buyer or as a gift to someone just getting started.  Because the Sebo Dart will serve you well for many years.

The only recommendation we would make is to buy and additional extension hose and wand that is not included with the machine.  You'll find that it will make cleaning high areas or tight spaces much easier to clean.
